Carfest 2018 Update from Clare Scheckter

Further to the CarFest licence conditions for Laverstoke Park Farm, please find attached the Summary Description for the 2018 ESMP.  I have also attached a copy of the Overton News and Views event summary.

We met with local residents on 3rd August for the Neighbourhood Advisory Group meeting and a presentation to Overton Parish Council will be undertaken on 8th August by Georgina Riley, Show Manager for CarFest at Brand Events and myself.  We are very pleased to report that this year, yet again, over 2,500 local residents have purchased tickets for CarFest which demonstrates that support for the event is continuing year on year.

As required as a condition of our licence,  a consultation period was published on our farm website between 13th July and 3rd August and as of today’s date there has not been a single comment received and, as of the date of writing no correspondence by post either.

If you have any questions or require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.  Hopefully the sunny weather will continue, with a bit of much needed rain between now and the festival starting and we will have a happy festival again and help raise lots more money for BBC Children in Need.  The £1,000,000 plus raised last year is a tough target to beat!

With best wishes
