Death of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh
Dear All
Today we have heard the sad news of the death of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. He will be remembered for his loyalty to his Queen and country and for his outstanding service to the nation, the Commonwealth and the wider world. Our thoughts and prayers are above all for Her Majesty and the Royal Family and we hold them all in our hearts at this time. Due to Covid 19 a physical book of Condolence is not allowed to be held in the church building but do please go to the Diocesan website where an on-line book of condolence is available to sign should you wish to do so: www.winchester.anglican.org
From today all flags must be flown at half-mast and bells should be rung half-muffled. Further guidance and advice from the Diocese will follow.
James
